Café 



Vérité offers a simple space for quiet conversation, or to read and reflect while nourishing yourself with delicious, healthful snacks, desserts and drinks. Based on principles of health and healing from Mother and Sri Aurobindo's Integral Yoga, our menu has been designed with the utmost care. All items are free from animal products, gluten, caffeine and added sugars.


A selection of books related to the Integral Yoga are available to read while you enjoy health-promoting treats.

NO ADDED SUGAR

All the cakes are made using homemade natural date syrup which helps to regulate weight and blood sugar, decrease inflammation, and regulates blood pressure, cholesterol, and triglycerides.

VEGAN

We use 100% plant-bases ingredients in a sustainable way, lowering the human impact on the planet, respecting animals and caring for the environment. 

NO-BAKE CAKES 

To maximize nutritional value, our cakes are not baked.  (Nutrients like healthy fats, vitamins and minerals diminish when heated over 42°.) 

GLUTEN FREE

All our products are 100% gluten-free. We use oats, cashew and almond flour as the base for the cakes.


Sustainable Dishware

We are using dishware made with materials that are biodegradable; they can be composted at the end of their use!


The biocomposite material is not plastic! It is made from sustainably sourced crop-residue and fast-renewables from farms and factories. These dishes are certified safe as per international standards for their intended use.


They help us to reduce carbon footprint, conserve resources and promote principles of sustainability and circularity in our café.


To preserve the fragile bio-elements of the environment, we are using eco-friendly biodegradable dishwashing products, made with 100% natural ingredients.

Our Values

90% of our ingredients are certified organic, free of pesticides, additives, antibiotics, and other chemical residues. Organic food supports health, both in our bodies and  on our planet! 

Food as medicine: eating healthy food is essential for healing and supporting the body and brain functions. When we say “healthy”, we mean organic whole food, sugar-free, fiber-rich, and plant-based.

95% of our ingredients are sourced from Tamil Nadu. Our ingredients comes from our garden, Auroville farms, and regional farmers, supporting the local economy and reducing our carbon footprint.

Vérité strives to be a venue where the practice  of Sri Aurobindo & the Mother’s Integral Yoga is ongoing, in all aspects of daily life.
